Single “Speck of dust” Press release
Rock revivalists Zoramena release their inaugural single on October 26th 2023. “Speck of Dust” is a genre-bending mishmash that captures a live, warm energy (think Permanent Waves era Rush but more DIY). Everything was self-produced in our home studio.
BAND BIO
Zoramena is the Basque word for “madness,” which is exactly what the band delivers at every show. Devoted to the DIY approach, they are completely self-produced, having built their first single “Speck of Dust” entirely from the home studio in Coeur D’Alene Idaho. Zoramena is hard to assign to any particular era or trend, but one thing is for certain. Ben Vogel, Pauly B, and Che Stratte are on a mission to bring unapologetic, high-energy rock n’ roll to the 2020s.
Until this year, the band has been performing lead singer and guitarist Ben Vogel’s original material. His 2022 solo album “Revealed” was recognized on I Don’t Hear a Single, Tongue Tied Magazine, North Idaho Now! podcast, BattleStar Eclectica on KYRS radio, and more.
With the first release under their belt, the band is working on producing more original material, filming their first music video, and continuing to perform regionally throughout the Northwest.
